Tax Assistance

The 2025 tax season has arrived and St. Louis Public Library will be working with the following community partners to provide tax preparation services to the community.

SLPL-Related Assistance

  • AARP TaxAide at Buder  
    • Offered by appointment only on Monday and Thursday mornings  
      • To request an appointment, call 314-329-5054 to leave your name and number for a call back
      • To qualify, individuals must be 65 and older or those 18 to 64 who receive SSI, SSD, or Veterans Disability.
    • For general tax questions (NOT appointments), call 314-467-0603 
  • AARP TaxAide at Carondelet  
    • Offered by appointment only on Monday afternoons  
      • To request an appointment, starting on January 15, call 314-270-2768 
  • AARP TaxAide at Carpenter  
    • Offered by appointment on Mondays  
      • To request an appointment, send an email to 500096683ty24@aarpfoundation.org 
  • AARP TaxAide at Central  
    • Offered by appointment only on Wednesday and Thursday mornings  
      • For appointments, call 314-612-5918 to leave your name and number for a call back
      • To qualify, individuals must be 65 and older or those 18 to 64 who receive SSI, SSD, or Veterans Disability. 
  • Gateway EITC Tax Services at Divoll  
    • Offered on a first come, first served basis
    • Fridays from February 7 - March 14
