Conservation notes: The collection is housed in an archival flip-top box. Lantern slides Rehoused into archival sleeves at some point prior to 2-16. All items have been digitized.
Scope and Content: The collection contains 3 ¼ 4” glass lantern slides. Some contain a stickered number. The slides depict images from the 1914 St. Louis Pageant and Masque. Some slides are of drawings, some are of photographs. There is a typewritten list that appears to be a narrative of the slides, perhaps used in a presentation. Original list disintegrating into several pieces. Therefore, it was retyped and the original discarded.
Arrangement: The slides have been arranged in at least 3 different orders over time. At processing, the archivist selected an order based on the original list. 3 slides (labeled: Audience, Opening Scene, and Indian) missing at processing. They were in existence at digitization as digital files do exist.
Restrictions: Collection open for research.
Remarks: Fragile items.
