Conservation notes: The collection arrived in 1 large original wooden container.  Lantern slides rehoused into archival sleeves at some point prior to  2016. Collection rehoused into padded glass plate negative storage boxes. All items have been digitized. 

Scope and Content: The collection contains 3 ¼ 4” glass lantern slides. Most contain a stickered number. The slides were used as a presentation show,  “The Story of a City,” for the celebration of St. Louis’  bicentennial. The topic cover a wide variety of St. Louis history and contain drawings as well as actual photos. 

Arrangement: Original collection order preserved. Numeric. 4 slides (75, 79, 124,  and 128) were missing at processing.

Restrictions: Collection open for research.  Remarks: Fragile items.
