SLPL Starts Automatic Library Card Renewal


The St. Louis Public Library is excited to announce the launch of automatic card renewal, making Library access even easier for our customers!

Starting on Monday, December 16, 2024, eligible customers with a current address on file will have their Library cards automatically renewed for an additional two years.  

Customers will receive an email when their card is renewed. If automatic renewal is unsuccessful, cardholders will receive an email notification with instructions on how to manually renew the card.

SLPL cards with updated address information will not be eligible for automatic renewal. Customers will need to renew these cards through the current procedures, either in person or by emailing a copy of a photo ID and proof of residency to customerservice@slpl.org, opens a new window
