The St. Louis Public Library has been designated a Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and has been providing patent and trademark information to the public since 1870.
Whether you have a new invention or a brand that you’ve worked hard to build, SLPL can help you protect your intellectual property. Patents protect inventions and trademarks protect brands. Other forms of intellectual property are protected by copyrights and trade secrets.
