In attendance were Nina North-Murphy, President, presiding; Alison Ferring (via phone), Keith Savage, Thomas Schlafly, David Sweeney (via phone), and Vince Volpe (via phone).
Also present were Executive Director Waller McGuire and staff members Kathy Leitle and Justin Struttmann; and Rhonda O'Brien and Lisa Stump (via phone), Lashly & Baer.
The meeting was called to order at 5:36 p.m. by Ms. North-Murphy.
Public Comment:
Three members of the public from the Washington Park Cemetery Anti-Desecration Group attended. Wanda Branden spoke asking that the Library pull out of an agreement with DDI Media for a Library billboard that is in the Washington Park Cemetery. The group is asking that that the billboard be removed. Ms. North-Murphy stated that the Library would investigate and report back to the group.
Mr. Savage's motion, seconded by Mr. Schlafly, to go into executive session was unanimously approved by a roll-call vote.
The meeting ended at 5:43 p.m.
