The Ask a Librarian service allows you to get answers to your questions in convenient ways.

  1. Live chat with a librarian for quick answers to quick questions.
  2. e-mail webref@slpl.org with your question (preferred method for Genealogy and in-depth research questions) 
  3. Telephone a librarian

Live chat is available:

  • Monday, 10am-8:30pm
  • Tuesday-Friday from 10am-5:30pm
  • Saturday, 9am-4:30pm
